In this class, younger students will learn how characters move and look alive in movies and video games! They will be introduced to basic 2D and 3D animation techniques using Minecraft characters and stages. Kids will expand their perception, observation, and timing skills, as well as exercise their imagination and storytelling by studying motion in reality; then applying it to animation. Students will learn how animators work by completing a variety of short animation exercises and projects. They will apply acting theories and animation principles to scenes they create.
